Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

Item upgrading is a key element to maximize your gearing potential. It lets you add extra bonus stats on top of your base level item's value.

Each upgrade template comes with an array of options that can be changed by using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the possibility of upgrading.

Upgrade components

As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading the armor and weapons in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you'd like to upgrade should also include an upgrade slot. The game will display an overview of the expected stats for the item after upgrading. It will also show the component or material needed. If you don't have the required level or resource to upgrade an item the button will say "Blocked."

Weapons and armor can be upgraded along with some trinkets as well as gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on any item to give bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is utilized. These upgrades can be acquired through crafting, purchased from a vendor, or looted.

There are two types of upgrades: universal and gemstones. Universal upgrades are comparable to gems and can be used in any type of equipment. They provide a lesser bonus than other upgrade components. They are easy to acquire by dropping them by enemies and robbed across the globe. Gems however are obtained by disassembling objects or by completing certain missions.

Upgrades can be taken out and replaced with new ones that fit in the slot of the weapon. However, this will destroy any previous upgrades. All other upgrades, except for glyphs that are inserted in gathering tools, are not able to be removed from an item once they are placed. Infusions that can be placed in ascended equipment or legendary equipment, as well as enrichments, which can only be recovered with an upgrade extractor, or by salvaging the item using a high-tier salvage kit, can be replaced every hour.

Recycled Items

In the two World Wars, the depletion of natural resources forced the world towards recycling. It is now common to recycle items like paper, aluminum and plastic to give them a new life as something different. Recycling actually saves energy and keeps carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. It's also a good option to avoid landfills and save natural resources. It is nevertheless important to know what materials can be recycled and what can't.

Many people make the error of putting the wrong items in the recycling bin. These items can not only harm recycling equipment, but they can also contaminate the stream. To avoid this, make sure you read the label and adhere to the rules of your recycling program. For instance cardboard shouldn't be mixed with steel or tin cans, and tissue needs to be put in the garbage. Plastic bags can also become stuck in recycling machines, and should be returned to the store for reuse. Other items that should be thrown in the trash include food containers and berry containers. Glass is the only exception, as glass can be used to build with.

When purchasing new items It is essential to search for the mark "Made with recycled content." This indicates that the product is made from recycled materials from items that have already fulfilled their purpose. This makes them a more green option than new products made from raw materials. Besides they are a lot cheaper than the original ones.

You can reuse your old computer, tablet, or phone by taking it to a recycle facility. They'll use the materials to create new electronics and other useful items. You could even earn money from some of these companies by donating old ones.

If you want your coworkers' recycling to be more convenient, you should standardize the colors of the bins and signage at your workplace. This will reduce confusion and increase participation rates. It is also recommended to create the space within your office for recycling for example, an open bin or box in the breakroom.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens give you a second chance of rolling the dice for higher stats or more powerful abilities. These tokens are found in the mistery box, as an uncommon drop from skulled creatures or killed bosses. Each token strips an attribute point from damage and rolls it randomly into another attribute. You can also make use of the token to reroll the additional attributes on an item, such as regeneration or speed.

The additional features of an item increase with each level, but the amount they boost differs. The value of the extra is calculated as a percentage of the total stats of the item, and rerolling a token will alter this value. The value of the item's recycling increases when it is upgraded. The value of the item's main stat increases by a factor of 3 every time it is upgraded, however the value of the additional stats can differ.

Click the dice icon next to the item in your Inventory to reroll it. You can also hit the button on a lobby of a player, and then select "Reroll". After rerolling the item, it will disappear from your inventory.

Rerolls can be purchased as well as other items in-game from Sagbe, an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls by redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be exchanged for a variety items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.

This token allows you to change your race at any time and can be redeemed through certain pack purchases or through the Token Shop. It can also be obtained as a reward for finishing Meg's cases during the Port Sarim invasion event.

Leveling

Upgrading an item in the upgrade process can increase its stats and Power Level. However, it increases the cost of upgrades and requires a certain amount of materials to complete the process. The type of material required depends on the item. Weapons, for example, utilize a combination of Destruction Stones (DS) and Guardian Stones. Armor makes use of Harmony Leapstones and Shards. The addition of additional materials could boost the chances of success, but it is not a guaranteed outcome.

The process of leveling uses a formula to determine the amount of damage or defense, magic attack or damage an upgraded item will receive during the next upgrade. The formulas vary based on the type of weapon used and rarity. In addition, there is a maximum level for each type of weapon.

Once the item has reached its highest level at which point the NPC will show an upgrade option that allows the player to use the item to gain experience and upgrade it to the next level. To maximize the benefits of this process it is important that players make sure their gear has reached its maximum level before upgrading. This way, they will save time and money that would have been better used for other upgrades.

The NPC will display two lines when the upgrade is in progress. The first line displays how many Tech Points will be gained by upgrading the item, while the second shows an overview of the item's upgraded appearance. The preview may not be exact if the item is equipped with modifications. However, it can give you a rough idea.

The NPC will also display the cost of upgrading the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. If you own an Accelerator, it will also display the cost. Accelerators are available on the Exchange. They boost the Tech Points earned from upgrading by 50 percent. However, this bonus does not apply to the item's quality Chance which is reset when the item reaches its target level.

The Upgrade NPC also provides an option to transfer gear. This will allow players to save their experience and upgrade progress of the gear they own and then transfer it to a new item that is in the same slot. This is useful for players who want to swap out their gear but don't have enough money to buy a new set.
